Your Skipper, Ratko
His first fishing experience dates from the time when he was five and he borrowed a thread and needle from his mother’s sewing kit. Ratko is manager by profession and skipper by passion. His life path brought him from a managing positions in a well known Croatian marketing agency over an executive position in biggest regional can fish industry, to the Captain’s position of his choice. He enjoys doing whatever needs to be done on the yacht. Safety is always his first and highest concern, followed by the comfort of the guests. Ratko is always keen to share his knowledge of sailing, fishing or diving with anybody interested to learn.
“Kosir” Linssen Grand Sturdy 40.9
Our motor yacht Kosir got its name from ancient tool made from curved, very sharp, forged steel. Peasants from Istria and whole Mediterranean region carried kosir tied to their belt and they used it for cutting underbrush, bramble and lop in order to protect their crops. Since motor yacht Kosir is made from steel and not plastics, you can see where our inspiration came from. Kosir is proud owner of 5 helms, which could be compared as to the 5 stars category and is the only yacht with 5 helms on the West coast of Istria that is used for commercial purposes.
Kosir is the motor yacht from the line Linssen Grand Sturdy 40.9 Sedan which was selected as the boat of the year in its class. It is luxuriously furnished with cruising speed of 8 Nm (15 km/h). The yacht has capacity for 10 persons, but for maximum enjoyment we limit it up to 6.
The luxurious salon has a movable top so you will never miss the sunlight or fresh air. It opens to the teak wooden platform at the back which covers the area of 16 m2. The platform has bimini top under which there is a spacious table and sitting area where you and your company can relax and enjoy in a shade. Behind, there is a nice bathing platform with ladders and warm and cold water shower.
The interior furniture is made of cherry wood and high quality leather. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, shower, WC, washing/drying machine, fridge, freezer, ice-maker, hot and cold water. It is equipped with a SIMRAD top quality navigation, autopilot, VHF radio, FURUNO fish finder, 220V inverter, central heating, air conditioning, radio/CD/MP3, TV, bow and stern thruster, etc.
The offer includes the service of skipper, fuel for 4 hours of cruising, a bottle of champagne, fresh water and soft beverages, fruit, sport fishing equipment (catch & release), fishing bites, daily fishing permits (optional), various water sports equipment, bathing towels, passengers insurance and all kind of taxes.
